Currently, Siemens is looking for experienced candidates to be applied as a Senior Quality Engineer who will be placed at Jakarta, Indonesia, to handle infrastructure and cities sector.
Areas of Responsibilities
Senior Quality Engineer at Siemens is a position that has a responsibility to develops and facilitates training on QMSTs, develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation, as well as performs advanced areas of work for the professional field. These jobs are subject to broad practices and procedures covered by functional precedents and policies, achievement of a circumscribed operational activity, and to managerial direction.
This position plays a role in investigating the factors about the low sales due to poor quality products and handle customer and supplier quality issues. In this position, applies advanced skills to resolve complex problems not covered by existing procedures or practices independently, and critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high impact, complex and cross functional problems.
The Senior Quality Engineer at Siemens will often collaborate with design engineers to assess the essential characteristics of the product to be measured. This role is constantly working on improvements to enhance the implementation of quality systems and the development of training to raise awareness about the issue of quality control. This job also includes ensuring compliance products and services and manufacturing processes, with corporate standards or required by law.

To be successful in this position, the candidate must have extensive knowledge and skill gained through broad or deep experience in a field which requires a command of either involved, diverse practices and precedents. Additionally, the candidates must also have an understanding and skills to influencing people, as well as having knowledge about policies and precedents, legislative acts, guidelines and legal requirements.
The Requirements
To become a Senior Quality Engineer at Siemens Indonesia, you must possess a Bachelor degree in Electrical or Electronic disciplines or advance degree, with extensive knowledge in field of specialization or
multiple disciplines to the successful completion of complex assignments. Typically 10 Years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of key responsibilities and knowledge as presented.
Additionally, you are expected to provide specialized guidance or trainee support or professional staff. Leadership qualities and role model qualities demonstrated. Performance or direction of activities which are similar as to content and objectives, with appropriate awareness. This includes thinking within a well defined frame of reference and toward specific objectives, in situations characterized by functional practices and precedents.
