Currently, INPEX Corporation is looking for professional and dynamic individual who will be placed in Abadi LNG Project at Indonesia, to be applied as a Budget Controller, which will provide expertise and administrative support to Masela Asset subsequent development in the areas of Cost Engineering.
The Abadi LNG Project is located in the Masela PSC Block in the Arafura Sea in Maluku Province with associated water depths ranging from 400m to 800m. Approximately 100km north of the block, the Babar Islands and Tanimbar Islands follow an east-west trend along the outer ridge of the Banda Arc. INPEX currently has more than 70 projects across more than 25 countries, making the company as one of the Japan’s largest oil and gas exploration and production (E&P) company.

The Responsibilities of Work
A Budget Controller at INPEX Corporation will be responsible for provide expertise in monitoring and compiling monthly expenditure report on concept select consultants and survey contractors, as well as provide expertise in management and execution of payment process including coordination with concept select consultants and survey contractors. This role must ensure compliance to existing laws, regulations and company's Health, Safety and Environment standard procedures and practices.
The Budget Controller who will be placed in Abadi LNG Project is expected to provide expertise in the final cost estimation of Masela Asset full field development concept selection activities based on the calculation of earned value, and provide subject matter, facilitation and coordination expertise for the drafting of Masela Asset full field development project execution plan. Additionally, this role also has responsibility to manage the budgeting and control expenditure.
The Duties
The main task of this position is to interpret budget directives and establish policies for carrying out directives, as well as analyze the department's monthly budget and accounting reports to maintain expenditure controls. Mostly, this position must make a summary of the budget and make recommendations for approval or rejection of requests for funds.
A Budget Controller at INPEX Corporation will be expected to provide advice and technical assistance with cost analysis, fiscal allocation, and budget preparation. So it
is important to always check the budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations. Day-to-day tasks will probably always be about cost, such as comparing operating programs, review financial requests, and explore alternative methods of financing.

The Requirements
The candidates who are interested to apply this position, must have an Academic degree in Industrial Engineering, Technical Science or Quantity Surveying, with a minimum of 5 years experience in project execution planning and cost engineering in support of large scale LNG developments in the Oil & Gas industry.
