Pertamina Hulu Energi ONWJ is moving in high gear to set the direction of its future growth as a forward driven multinational energy company. PHE ONWJ, with over 35 years operating experience in Indonesia, covers 8,300 square kilometers of production area -stretching from the north as Cirebon to Kepulauan Seribu. Our facilities include 670 wells, 1 70 shallow wafer platforms, 40 processing and service facilities and some 1,600 kilometers of sub-sea pipelines.

PHE ONWJ operated as a subsidiary company of PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) and its plants located on the Offshore North West Java block with current concession area is 8,279 km2. The Company's founded in 1971 under the name of BP West Java Limited. In 2009, its name changed into PT Pertamina Hulu Energi Offshore North West Java after BP sold its interest in this block to PT Pertamina Hulu Energi.

Corrosion Engineer
Closing Date: November 15, 2012

Responsibilities:

• To perform corrosion preventive and corrective activities (e.g. risk assessment, reduction, scoping, monitoring, and analysis) in supporting the engineering design, engineering recommendation, continuous risk reductions (CRR) program and HSSE to ensure corrosion program executed on time, safely and efficiently.

Requirements:

1. Minimum bachelor degree in Metallurgical, Material, or Chemical or Oil/Gas Petrochemical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years experiences
2. Must possess an experience of corrosion engineering, material engineering and field corrosion monitoring
3. Must familiar, understand and experience in practical of common corrosion code and standard; and best practices in oil and gas industries
4. Have understanding in oil and gas production and distribution
5. Having strong analytical thinking
6. Ability to lead group, work with peers and communication with others
7. This position will be located in Pertamina Hulu Energi Offshore North West Java (PHE ONWJ)
