It has acquired the world-class Martabe gold-silver project in northern Sumatera, Indonesia. Already in development, Martabe is expected to commence production of gold in 2012. The mine will be capable of producing at a rate of 250,000oz gold and 3M oz silver per annum.

Martabe with a resource base of 6.5Moz gold and 66Moz silver will form the core starter asset around which a globally competitive, Asia-Pacific focused gold company will be built. G-Resources seek to rapidly grow production to more than one million ounces of gold annually through exploration of the large and highly prospective Martabe property and through acquisition of other quality gold assets.

PT. Agincourt Resources is pleased to invite applications for the following roles:


This position will be based in Martabe project with FIFO roster 4/2 weeks and reports directly to the Superintendent Mine Technical Services.

The role will involve the development of mine, infrastructure and safety reason in concern with other mining engineering staff. This position caries on through the project development and operation to facilitate the effective operations of mining through reliable system of Hydrology management.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:
  • Tertiary qualification in Hydrogeology or Geology.
  • Post tertiary studies in a related field & POP Certificate
  • Computer Hydrogeology/ geotechnical skills will be preferred.
  • Proven experience in the plan, monitor, supervise Geotech/Hydrology of drilling activities, equipment monitoring such as dewatering, horizontal drilling, VWP, TDR, Inclinometer, open hole, etc.
  • Knowledge and Experience of groundwater/surface water modelling software
  • Experience in Hydrology Mapping and Analysis
  • Experience on Environmental/geotechnical aspects related with hydrology issues.
  • Ability to make a mine hydrology report and Competence in speaking, reading and writing English.
  • Minimum of 7 years working experience within hydrogeology aspect of active operating mines and Experience in a metalliferous mining operation environmental will be preferred.

This position will be based at Martabe project with FIFO roster 4/2 weeks and reports directly to the Superintendent Mine Technical Services.

The main accountabilities of the role are to:
  1. Coordinate long – term mine planning activities.
  2. Coordinate short – term mine planning (design & scheduling)
  3. Ensure that short – term planning encompasses the requirements of the long – termplan.
  4. Ensure short – term (1 week to 12 month) mine plans are produced and monitored through to a reconciliation process.
  5. Coordinate with Mill Operations personnel on short – term mill requirements.
  6. Ensure all short – term mine plans are coordinated with the Mine Contractor, Mill operations and Maintenance Superintendent.
  7. Report weekly & monthly tonnage & grade achievements.
  8. Coordinate and reconcile actual production results to budgeted results for formal reconciliation requirements on a monthly, quarterly & annual basis.
  9. Coordinate the creation of summary reports documenting grade, geological factors.
  10. Host the weekly Operational Planning meeting & provide post – meeting updates & plan
  11. Promote improvements in all areas to meet or exceed set targets.
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:
  • Degree in mining Engineering
  • 5 years experience with min of 3 years in metaliferous mine
  • Experience in LOM, short and medium term.
  • Extensive background in mine planning preferably in small team.
  • Use of Surpac and other mine design software packages in mine planning, mine design, stockpile development and scheduling
  • Reconciliation of production model, actual or tonnes mined and miled.
  • Operated in Au, Ag mine operation.
  • Understanding of reserve model with GC drill hole data upgrades.
  • Hands on practical pit experience interpersonal, communication skills, manage small team.
  • Planning, problem solving and organizations skills & Mentor mine planners and mine engineers.
  • Surpac scheduling package, Blast pattern modelling in Surpac & Talpac expertise is preferred

This position will be based in Martabe Project and reports directly to the TSF Construction Manager.

Role of this position is responsible to:
  1. Ensure construction of TSF, follows PTAR operational plan and PTAR’s safety, health, environmental, community standards.
  2. Ensure the construction of TSF follow the best practice of civil construction applied on daily operational activity safely, cost effective and focus on target achievement.
  3. Ensure daily Contractor compliance to the standard of work TSF construction
  4. Manage the communication flow among all involved parties are smooth to achieve target
  5. Report the implementation of waste/rock placement for TSF construction
  6. Monitor and report compliance to mining contract in relation to TSF
  7. Assist in survey pick up, permeability testing
  8. Candidates for this role
Would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:
  • Minimum Senior High School, Diploma and Bachelor Degree Civil is preferred
  • Able to manage safety on site, i.e. worked in large earthmoving projects
  • Familiar with operational equipment/machinery, limitations and manage productivity
  • Minimal experience 7 years in the same field
  • Good communication in English both oral and written
  • Good personality, determined, adaptive, responsive, open minded, integrity and team work.

This position will be based in Martabe Project with FIFO Schedule 4/2 weeks and reports directly to the Senior Surveyor.

Role of this position is responsible to:
  1. Supports TSF construction activities
  2. Maintain personal responsibility for the health, safety and environment act of every worker under or assigned to his supervision
  3. Operate and maintain total station and other additional tool as required by mining, exploration and civil industry
  4. Ensure and maintain data records with accuracy
  5. Develops implement and maintain the survey procedure or protocol that adheres to survey standards as required under the industry standards in their project
  6. Maintains high technical standards and the same time have the ability to complete assigned task in a timely manner
  7. Provide report related with TSF construction survey
  8. Trains and guides project associated staff
  9. Maintain community and local government relationships
  10. Ensure survey team cover work, maintains regular pickup of ongoing work
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:
  • Bachelor Degree in Geodetic Engineering
  • Minimal experience 3 years of practical mining survey
  • Experienced with survey equipments, Total Station & GPS
  • Familiar with surveying & mapping software (Processing & Adjustment)
  • Capable of using CAD software (Surpac, Mapinfo)
  • Familiar with coordinate system transformation and map projection
  • Good communication in English both oral and written
  • Good personality, determined, adaptive, responsive, open minded, integrity and team work.
