Garuda Indonesia is the biggest state-owned airlines company in Indonesia. The Company based in Jakarta and sucessfully maintained its "4 Star Airline" and The World's Most Improved Airline from Skytrax, a London-based Independent global airline rating agency. The Company in 2010 obtained an extension on the IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) certification valid until 2012 and implemented the Integrated Operational Control System (IOCS) that integrated the various systems for monitoring aircraft deployment, flight schedule, and air crew deployments. Since 1 June 2010, Garuda Indonesia has re-opened the Jakarta - Amsterdam via Dubai Route, after being terminated in 2004. In addition to this new destination, the Company also opened 7 (seven) new international routes, including direct flights Jakarta - Tokyo, Sydney and Melbourne, serving a total 0f 35 international routes in 2010 with an a average of 338 flights weekly.
