Lembaga Administrasi Negara (LAN) or The National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA) is a non-ministerial agency in Indonesia to undertake some part of the executive function of the administration. The Agency was established in 1957 and based in Jakarta. LAN's head office is situated in Jl Veteran No 10 Jakarta. The Agency owned 4 representative offices (Pusat Kajian dan Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Aparatur - PKP2A), situated in Banda Aceh, Jatinangor Bandung, Makassar, and Samarinda.
The Agency is under and responsible to the President of Republic Indonesia. The National Institute of Public Administration is led by a Chairman and currently held by Agus Dwiyanto. He is assisted by 5 deputy.
