Specialist/Expert - IT Security Administrator

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain information security standards and procedures in compliance with information security and risk management policies, standards and guidelines.
• Enact, implement, monitor and administer enterprise information security policies and standards.
• Manage the information security function in accordance with established policies and guidelines.
• Investigate security breaches, misuse of computer resources, misuse of internet access, and other violations of informationsecurity policies and standards/personnel rules of employee use of technology.
• Perform network security testing, network penetration and network security compliance auditing and assist or coordinateimplementation of security solutions.
• Coordinate information security efforts with appropriate departments when security or IT practices or procedures are breached orcompromised.
• Coordinate and lead security orientation and security awareness programs.

Requirements

1. 5-7 yrs Management Information Systems experience working in an enterprise environment with an emphasis in IT security.
2. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
3. Knowledge of WAN/LAN network security devices such as the firewalls, VPN (Virtual Private Network), IDS (Intrusion Detection System) and IPS (Intrusion Prevention System).
4. Strong skills in Firewall architecture and administration.
5. Familiarity with Cisco, Juniper and other network router and switch technologies
6. Ability to work with both HP-UX, Sun Solaris, Linux, and Microsoft Windows servers and clients
7. Experience with MPLS networks
