Professional Development Program Superintendent Adaro Indonesia June 2012

Adaro Indonesia is one of the largest coal producers in Indonesia. From an outside perspective most people know this as the giant mine at Tutupan in South Kalimantan. However, after mining and before the coal becomes a saleable product it needs to be processed by crushing to an internationally acceptable final size, stockpiled and then loaded onto barges for transportation either direct to local consumers or to Taboneo for transhipment to ocean going vessels which deliver the coal to international consumers.

Currently, the company are looking for young, energetic and dynamic professional candidates to join our team as:

Professional Development Program Superintendent
Work Location: South Kalimantan.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee Professional Development Program management including support the curriculum development in technical competency development
• Ensuring all technical development programs are developed and implemented as scheduled (Graduate Development Program, Apprentice Program, Internship Program)
• Reviews all professional development program and continue to improve
• Work with Admin Support Superintendent to develop document & knowledge management

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mining/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Geology, Industrial)
2. Minimum 2 years in engineering work and/ or in supervisory role (mining industry is an advantage)
3. Minimum 2 years experience in training and development area would be a plus
4. Curriculum development particularly on technical competency (if any)
5. Critical to be able to communicate well with all parties
6. Able to supervise a team of program coordinators
7. Able to recommend the right training and how to schedule
8. Knows how a database system works
9. Able to manage multiple projects at once
10. Able to deliver training
11. Able to develop technical competency training curriculum is a plus
12. Willing to be located in South Kalimantan (Tanjung, Tabalong)
