PT Thiess Contractors Indonesia first commenced operations in Indonesia in 1972 as a subsidiary of Thiess Bros Pty Ltd. In 1984 Thiess Indonesia operations were acquired by C.S.R. in a corporate takeover.

In November 1988, PT. Thiess Contractors Indonesia was re-established and incorporated. It was awarded its first major mining contract in March 1989 by BHP at Senakin Mine in Kalimantan.

Through the 1990s, Thiess Indonesia was very successful in securing a significant share of the infrastructure works associated with the development of major mines by international mining companies.

In addition, Thiess Indonesia has been successful in servicing a number of long-term mining contracts, which are still in progress today. In more recent years, Thiess Indonesia has diversified into Telecommunications projects and the Oil and Gas sector.

The strength of Thiess Indonesia project experience has enabled the group to develop the capability to provide total project solutions through E.P.C contracts and other project delivery methods including alliances. In addition, Thiess Indonesia can draw specialist resources and support from its parent company whenever required.

Manager ICT

Work Location: Jakarta (Job No. 799845)

With main job as below:

• Direct report to the Executive Manager Business Services, and lead a large team of IT professionals in Jakarta & Balikpapan with total about 35 direct staff and 15 indirectly across the project.
• To manage ICT services which include data/voice communication, support site throughout Indonesia that is connected through VSAT/MPLS, software development team, support and manage FM radio on projects, 2 ways radio communication with over 1000 users.
• Manage user account over 2000 users.

Requirements :

• IT Degree qualified.
• Higher education and education undertaken internationally a distinct advantage.
• Minimum 10 years working experience and 5 years experiences managing a team in a similar role.

Manager Technical Services

Work Location: Jakarta (Job No. 795663)

With main job as below:

• Proactive seek, drive and deliver innovation value adding solution to the TCI business in the area of business system, project controls and planning & scheduling.
• Continually improve the operation quality and efficiency of Technical Services practices across TCI and enhance the skills and development of all technical services staff across the business.
• Maintain a strong link and relationship with Thiess Australia through links and relationships with the ICT and Business Systems, Project Controls and Australian Mining teams.

Requirements :

• Tertiary qualification in Finance, Engineering, or other appropriate discipline.
• Minimum 6 years experiences in leadership and people management.
• Minimum 4 years in the mining or construction industry.

Senior Engineer Cost Control

Work Location: Jakarta (Job No. 739970)

With main job as below:

• Providing leadership in meeting company health safety environmental and quality systems requirements.
• Provide support in control function such as budget setup, cost analysis, progress value, forecast.
• Review weekly/monthly report for functional departments and projects – from start up to completion.

Requirements:

• Tertiary degree in civil engineering or similar.
• Minimum 6 years experience in civil construction projects.
• Minimum 2 years experiences in leading and managing people or 2 years experiences in managing client/customer relations.

Senior Engineer Planning

Work Location: Jakarta (Job No. 777186 )

With main job as below:

• Providing leadership in meeting company health safety environmental and quality systems requirements.
• Provide support in scheduling/planning such as prepare WBS, MTO, resources Analysis, duration calculation, method statement, schedule levelling for functional departments and from start up to completion.

Requirements:

• Tertiary degree in civil engineering or similar.
• Minimum 6 years experience in civil construction projects.
• Minimum 2 years experiences in leading and managing people or 2 years experiences in managing client/customer relations.

Superintendent – Operations BSF

Work Location: Balikpapan (Job No. 806748 )

With main job as below:

• Deliver valued and cost effective services to the tenants of the Balikpapan Support Facilites within agreed budgets.
• Provision of facilities and support services to meet the needs of the facilities tenants, and for the safety and wellbeing of all employee’s contractors and visitors on site regardless of functional area.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Management, HSE or Administration
• Minimum of 8 years experiences in complementary roles such as Health/ Safety / Environment, People & Administration, Civil / Construction / Maintenance.

General Requirements:

1. Proficient in MS office and Desktop Publishing Package, proficient in Resources Analysis and Planning, project Management, Scheduling utilizing software such as Primavera or equivalent (2, 3, 4).
2. Highly motivated, service oriented and good teamwork; proficient in presentation/communication skills.
3. Master in Spread Sheet Application; good communication skill, interaction internal/external parties.
