Government Affairs Manager - 610220
Work Location: Jakarta

Job Description
  • Responsible for developing and managing corporate affairs strategies and programs that promote a positive business environment and upholds/enhances the company's reputation.
  • Engages with stakeholders to comprehensively understand, prioritize and address need and issues and develop a long term vision.
  • Based on this, develops strategic plans for the country CAG organization incorporating its core programs of education, government affairs, CSR and related external initiatives actively building alignment with all key stakeholders.
  • In order to deliver on CAG mission, builds a comprehensive network of external contacts at very senior decision-making levels particularly in Government, regulatory and relevant industry organizations and maintains strategic and collaborative relationships with diverse national and global groups.
  • Represents the organization at key external govt/regulatory and industry platforms. Should be able to lead and drive our agenda (E.g. Broadband) in such external platforms independently pulling in necessary content expertise as required.
  • Works closely in partnership with key country Business groups.
  • Very visible position. External actions carry significant risk of impact to Intel's image, reputation and ability to do business; impact can be global in nature.
  • Reports to the Regional Corporate Affairs director, matrix to site management, and manages the country CAG staff and budget
Qualifications
  • You should possess a Bachelor's degree and/or a Master's degree with more than 12 years of relevant experience preferably in working with Governments and/or industry bodies, and driving external messaging.
  • Working knowledge of external environment and interplay with country geo-political dynamics would be an advantage.
  • A mature, strategic and nuanced thinker, must be able to integrate complex information from multiple sources and drive groundbreaking solutions to issues.
  • Must be able to identify critical stakeholders and build responsible external relationships at very senior levels.
  • Manages internal and external stakeholders, securing their support to address complex and sensitive issues.
  • Requires an understanding of Intel's business environment and technologies and the ability to determine the appropriate response to emerging issues with potential impact to the company's business and operations.
  • Must have the capacity to analyze key issues and controversies, pending litigation, and regulatory constraints that impact the company's image and business and advise on response strategy.
  • An appreciation of marketing/PR and branding desired.
  • Must be a risk-taker, seasoned in conflict resolution, negotiation, crisis management and able to coach senior management.
  • Requires excellent communication, public speaking and presentation skills, and the ability to manage and work effectively on diverse teams in both direct and matrix reporting environments.
  • Handles confidential information frequently and appropriately.
  • Must have demonstrated skills in networking at senior levels in government and industry.

Technical Marketing Engineer - 611534

Job Description
  • As a Technical Marketing Engineer in Software and Services Group, you will be Intel's engineering representative to Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), Service Providers and developers for the Intel Software Programs in South East Asia, working with them to develop interesting usage models, deliver optimal performance and compelling features for their applications on Intel's platforms from notebook, netbook, ultrabooks , tablet to Smartphone.
  • In this role, you will introduce Intel Software Partner program Intel Software Network to developers / ISVs and help them to access and implement various enabling around Intel Architecture .
  • At the same time, you will present key platform roadmaps and strategies to developers and ISVs, analyze current and planned software products for feature enhancement opportunities, and help them implement these features into their products.
  • Some of these features include advanced graphics, enhancing connectivity, enabling off-line data access, optimizing both for power and performance.
  • You will also have to interact with the business heads in the ISV organizations to present Intel value and partnership.
  • You will work closely with other engineers in your division, Intel's platform development teams and software tools developers and marketing experts to provide technical support to your ISVs.
  • You will also mentor other engineers within Intel, prepare and present technical material at internal forums to help improve the knowledge of the group.
  • In addition, ability to deliver presentations at external events to evangelize Intel platforms, technology and our software best practice is required.
Qualifications
Qualification and mandatory skills:
  • Min. Bachelors in Engineering with major in Computer Science/Electronics, and has overall experience of more than 5 years with relevant experience of 3 years
  • Experience in working with Software developer communities and sound understanding of local software ecosystem
  • Experience and capability in developing applications on Windows and Linux like Moblin, Maemo, Android, Limo and Ubutu with Qt or GTK+ or both.
  • Excellent problem solving skills and initiative.
  • Excellent verbal, presentation and documentation ( white papers, case studies and articles ) skills to interface with and influence ISVs, developers, management and other stakeholders.
Additional Skills
  • Business experience like account management, program management is required
  • An excellent understanding of software engineering principles and application architecture and design
