Project Engineer
Work Location: Surabaya (Jawa Timur)

Responsibilities:
  • Provide project engineering input/output, as required, in the bid stage regarding design and engineering scheduling.
  • Assure final scope is defined at start of engineering and all disciplines have access to appropriate scope documents.
  • Conduct project engineers review meetings to confirm the work was done properly and assist project engineer in resolving any technical aspect problem.
  • Review contract documents for the technical aspects
  • Manage distribution of contract documents to Engineering supporting group and related departments and maintain “Quality Records” of contract documents.
  • Establish and control schedule for contractual engineering commitments, evaluate status, control the engineering change process, advising Project Manager of potential deviations and institute corrective action and necessary modifications due to changes in the scope or design for performance, quality or cost reasons.
  • Responding and clarification to vendor’s and/or Customer’s complaint regarding to the technical aspects and workspace.
  • Ensuring all engineering phases is timely, cost effective and contractually compliant.
  • Manage corrective actions and Non Conformance Record (NCR) for assuring engineering documents, engineering requisitions, and product conform to quality assurance/control requirements.
Requirements:
  1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial or Marine from reputable University
  2. At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required
  3. Has experiences as field services engineer is preferable
  4. Understand the overall steam generator power plant design
  5. Able to use word processing, spreadsheet and Project Management application
Product Development Engineer and Design
Work Location: Surabaya (Jawa Timur)

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze Product technical specifications especially on specific instruction for design requirement and criteria of Product development.
  • Determine Mechanical Design Parameters required for the design as per Product technical specification and/or agreed International Codes.
  • Perform Code Calculation of the product to ensure that the selected material is suitable, within allowable stress limit and in accordance to the Product technical specification.
  • Perform Steel Structure Analysis to ensure that the product is withstand with any conditions specify in the design.
  • Perform Pipe Stress Analysis to ensure the pipes are routed within allowable stress limit.
  • Perform proper Pipe Support selections suitable with the product designed.
  • Prepare deliverables of Product development to incorporate quality, safety, manufacturing, cost, material availability, erection, installation, and transportation limitation into the design process.
  • Continuously to learn and examine product design and process and investigate for any possibilities for improvement to increase product competitiveness.
  • Coordinate a verification process on the engineering development tasks to ensure validity, functionality, applicability, quality, and cost effectiveness in accordance to proper procedure.
  • Ensuring all procedures are effectively implemented
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor S-1 in Mechanical, Civil, Marine, or other Engineering disciplines with adequate practical engineering experience to the specified position functions
  2. Computer programming literate
  3. Strong technical knowledge in product line and design process especially in combined cycle steam power plant.
  4. Excellent in Auto Cad, PDMS and Solid Edge

Material Control Officer
Work Location: Surabaya (Jawa Timur)

Responsibilities:
  • To develop , maintain & improving the system within Material Control in order to meet the ISO , ASME , ICQ & SMK3 requirements and facilitating improvement projects within Material Control
  • Maintaining and make necessary improvement to the existing inventory system.
  • Assuring that all company procedures are well implemented within department.
  • Determine ROP and lead time
  • Evaluate area availability for storing and propose alternative if storage are full.
  • Perform cycle count and stock take both internally and external
  • Create yearly proposal budget for Material Control System Officer.
  • Assist admin work within Material Control System Officer.

Buyer
Work Location: Surabaya (Jawa Timur)

Responsibilities:
  • Review proposal/project requirements and develop a sourcing strategy along with cost estimator & tender engineer.
  • Give well support for cost estimator & tender engineer on preparation of material costing based on either supplier’s quotes or internal database and also secure the material price and its delivery as much as possible, especially for the long lead and major commodities
  • Review Purchase Requisition in term of scope supply, technical supporting document, and lead time required that received from user and send RFQ/Request for Quotation immediately in accordance with sourcing strategy.
  • Receive Quotation from supplier and take a lead for review/clarification process on all supplier’s quotations to assure that the supplier considered for award complies in all respects with project requirements, and also assure all quotations shall be treated fairly, and equity (“apple to apple”).
  • Negotiate with selected Supplier(s) to obtain lowest total cost utilizing effective product leverage strategies, fact-finding techniques and other aggressive negotiation tactics.
  • Recommend the purchasing plan and obtain project team concurrence.
  • Prepare the purchase order, assure that purchase order is fully signed & approved in time properly as per latest DoA of Alstom, and issue the purchase orders to supplier.
  • Manage the change order process (i.e., scope of work, schedule, price, terms and conditions, etc) including analysis and justification of change.
  • Review Supplier invoices to assure compliance with purchase order and goods/services delivered.
  • Assure all Suppliers commitments are fulfilled throughout purchase order life including warranty obligations.
  • Take a lead to claim positions and commercial resolution of back-charges.
  • Update KPI of Procurement & Logistic Department in term of cost saving, on-time delivery, and COPQ.
  • Develop supply agreement with preferred supplier considering long lead material, repetitive requisition, and service rate.
  • Develop and maintain material costing database for use in the estimating and cost control process

Responsibilities:
  • Performing sales activity assigned to ensure in achieving an optimum level of business.

Project Procurement Manager

Responsibilities:
  • Support tendering process in review process of proposal/project requirements and bridging the activity in initial sourcing strategy along with Project Procurement members and Sourcing.
  • Provide appropriate resources to support tendering process done by Sourcing in order to assist the tender & sourcing strategy.
  • Lead an effort in developing the procurement plan based on the sourcing strategy in order to achieve the material saving or cost reduction that set up in the proposal stage and to achieve the on time material delivery target as defined in each project.
  • Reviewing and monitoring the purchase requisition status and ensuring that the outstanding purchase requisition is reviewed along with the related buyer and take an immediate action to resolve the issue without sacrificing the project schedule.
  • Reviewing & monitoring the expediting report developed by Expeditors where cover the delivery status of material/equipment/services and documents or other agreed deliverable and lead an effort to set up the recovery plan for the outstanding orders.
  • Reviewing & monitoring export-import, transportation and logistic activity and report developed by EXIM/LOGISTIC where cover the progress of material ordered delivery to be received by shop on-time and accountable for management of documentation for export-import prior periodically audit by custom auditor.
  • Resolve Supplier non-conformance issues including generation of claim positions and resolution of back-charges. Assure all suppliers commitments are fulfilled throughout purchase order life including warranty obligations.
  • Develop & maintain the relationship with other ALSTOM sourcing community.
